“Understanding your heritage, your roots, and your ancestry is an important part of carving out your future.”

Cultural heritage is a reminder of the diversity of our communities that we live in, as well as of co-existence and mutual respect. Especially during difficult times it's essential not to lose sight of our unity. For this reason, heritage in all its forms must be preserved, enhanced and handed on to future generations as a record of human experience and aspirations, connecting people with the legacy of their past, so as to foster creativity in all its diversity and to inspire genuine dialogue among cultures. Europe is primarily shaped by our connections, as individuals and communities, beyond bias and borders, languages and time and our identity is to be maintained and enhanced.

Are YOU ready to embark on the Heritage Journey for Youth?

Aims and Objectives: The project's aim is to empower young people to better appreciate their cultural heritage, interact with it, and through it, participate actively in society. This will also be an opportunity for them to engage more frequently as volunteers in activities that aim at protecting, safeguarding and promoting heritage. The aim is also to increase their access to cultural heritage, including by digital means, and to activate their creativity when it comes to the preservation and promotion of cultural heritage.

Participating countries: Romania, Spain, Greece, Poland, Bulgaria, Hungary.
