What will happen
This project is the next training course facilitated by SUPPORT about the topic "Nature". During this course we give youth workers the knowledge and the technical skills which enables them to organize outdoor activities in a satisfying and safe way. Therefore we run several workshops about topics like "how to build a shelter", "safety", "fire", "outdoor cooking", "ropes, strings and knots", "methods", "orientation", ..... Very important for us is to offer the opportunity to share knowledge, there will be participants that have special skills and we want that everyone can benefit from the knowledge of the whole group.
We also will visit some nice and special places where we can practice the things we learned and trained. There will be a trip to Gmunden, a nice medieval city on a beautiful lake (Traunsee).
We will walk to the nature reserve “Laudachsee” and will have the chance to visit the treetop walk at the “Grünberg”
We will be supported by the local community, local youth organisations, companies and volunteers. Our partner organization ZIB Hagenmühle will also be included as much as possible. The ZIB Hagenmühle is a training center for NEETS between 15 and 24 years and is located close to our accommodation.
A farmer allows us to run several activities in his forest and all the eco food we can get directly from the farmers around will be part of our dishes.
Furthermore our team will do its best to take care of all the needs of our guests like, diet, individual support etc.
