ΠΕΡΙΓΡΑΦΗ ΠΡΟΓΡΑΜΜΑΤΟΣ

The "Present Yourself – Be Successful!" project is a youth exchange which will take place in the city Breznik, Pernik Municipality, Bulgaria, from 26th March to 2nd April 2017. In the project activities 28 youths and 7 youth leaders and facilitators from 7 partner organizations from Bulgaria, FYROM, Turkey, Romania, Slovakia, Italy and Greece will take part directly. The main topic of the project is to propose ways to fight the youth unemployment, including disadvantaged youths due to geographical, social, economical and educational factors, as well as to build tolerance to and integrate these youths into the social and economic life of the society. More detailed topics for discussion are the active integration of young people through the methods and activities of the non-formal education – presentations, discussions, generating ideas workshops, role games, simulation job interviews, cultural evening. We have planned also meetings with local youths from a small country village and team building in the open, a visit to the local Mayor’s office and discussion with its experts and a meeting with local youths there. During the project preliminary prepared presentations will be showed and discussions held in order to review and summarize the good practices and experience that the partner organizations and their countries have in the fight against the youth unemployment and exclusion of disadvantaged youths. The main objectives of the project are encouraging networking for implementation of projects supporting the process of finding means and solving various youth problems, including disadvantaged youths; strengthening the partnership between the participating organizations in order to continue their cooperation in this and in other fields. The participating youths will acquire practical skills for improving their employability at the labour market, as well as to multiply the knowledge learnt. We will also stimulate the empathy of all participants and their creativity.
