ΠΕΡΙΓΡΑΦΗ ΠΡΟΓΡΑΜΜΑΤΟΣ

According to the European Commission, female entrepreneurship is fertile ground when it comes to
achieving economic growth in the EU. The European Framework of Competence for Entrepreneurship
indicates that up to 20% of girls and young women who participate in educational activities on
entrepreneurship will later venture into self-employment.

However, many girls and women encounter multiple obstacles when it comes to starting their own
business or venturing into entrepreneurship. The application of mindfulness practices shows an
improvement in students' attention and focus, emotional regulation, creativity, and problemsolving
skills. Creativity, problem-solving skills and teamwork skills are one of the most important
competencies that entrepreneurs must develop to have a greater opportunity to stay in the business
market, according to the entrepreneurship competencies framework. While mindfulness practices have
also been shown to improve overall mental and physical health in those who use these methods. The
MFE project aims to combine entrepreneurship education and mindfulness practices in order to
create and implement a training activity designed specifically for youth workers that will allow them
to acquire the skills and competencies necessary to educate girls and women in their community
towards entrepreneurship.

Objectives:

- Improve the competencies of youth workers in order to support their motivation and ability to implement innovative youth work, as well as to improve their employment opportunities.

- Provide youth workers with creative and innovative training plans, as well as new tools and methods for delivering non-formal education on entrepreneurship to girls and young women.

- Increase the ability to trigger changes in terms of modernization of youth work by improving the international cooperation of the consortium.

- Encourage entrepreneurship, female entrepreneurship and meditation through mindfulness.

Participating countries: Croatia, Spain, Italy, Czech Republic, Romania, Turkey, Greece, Estonia

Venue: The venue of the project will be a Public Youth Hostel in Puente Genil, Cordoba. It is in the centre of the city town and about 1h 15min from Malaga/Sevilla/Cordoba.
