ΠΕΡΙΓΡΑΦΗ ΠΡΟΓΡΑΜΜΑΤΟΣ
The project will take place on the 28.08-06.09.2018. It is a Youth Exchange based around music.
“Music around the world! Vol. 2” is the title. The goal of this youth exchange is to meet and talk, to
learn about music, about ways of creating it as well as to make our own, international music. The
activities during the project will be workshops and discussions, lectures with practical aspects on
the theory behind music. We will also have an Open Space to let the participants create something
they want, something entirely their own. This all will result in people connecting across the borders,
newbies will learn about music, professional artists will learn about differences between countries.
All of them will play together and gain new insights. Long term, this meeting will results in a great
experience, in potential cooperation and employment and in better understanding of our neighbours
in Europe and beyond.
Main things we will do are:
- Organize together and carry out up to four concerts. Street performing, concert outdoors with a
proper stage, concert in a bar and such.
- Spend two days in a recording studio to record own songs
Things to remember:
- Please make sure that at least two people from your group are musicians.
- The Musicians are encouraged to take any instrument they want to try transporting. We will
attempt to cover extra costs created by this. Just, keep it within reason, no pianos.
- We will have a chance to use a recording studio with a professional crew, so it would be great to
try and come up with some song for ourselves.
