ΠΕΡΙΓΡΑΦΗ ΠΡΟΓΡΑΜΜΑΤΟΣ

Migration flows in today's Europe are bringing several challenges. The young generation will inevitably have to face those challenges both in private life and the professional work environment. Through non-formal education, we want to provide knowledge and tools for young people and youth workers; we want to ensure their ability to identify potentially critical situations and react appropriately.

No return – the way forward? Training Course will bring together 24 young people from 8 different countries for 7 days. Firstly, they will be presented with an overview of economic and global causes and consequences of migration. The participants will also acquire the socio-psychological knowledge that will affect their opinion and further interactions with ethnically different individuals.

Through lectures, workshops and field work, they will gain expertise from the experienced leaders, scholars and youth leaders. Through non-formal methods of education, participants will gain skills for acceptance of diversity in their private lives and professional working environment. Consequently, they will actively move towards a more open society. This is a necessity and at the same time the only way in a globalized Europe, full of migration.
