MOBILITY OF STUDENTS

Due to Erasmus + Program professional subject students are able to acquire practical professional experience abroad and develop their language skills.

Students are able to participate in the vocational training in an enterprise, an educational center or school in another country. Such type of experience enables them to smoothly transfer from the educational to working phase.

 The internships may last since 2 weeks till 12 months. Their integral part is students’ preparation by sending organization (their school/educational institution) of language courses as well as cultural and pedagogical courses. Training program designed for particular student needs to be concise with the educational program at specific faculty. It also has to be defined by sending and hosting institutions in the moment of submitting the application. It is highly recommended to attach the schedule of vocational training along with the application form.

 Participation in the vocational training needs to be certified by Europass Mobility, which constitutes a document confirming skills and competences acquired by a student during the internship.

 Vocational trainings and internships are directed at:

  • Students of professional schools,
  • People being in the process of professional training at employer;
  • Graduates – so called “recent graduates” (mobility has to be held within one year from participant’s graduation)

 Due to participation in vocational training abroad students are able to develop a range of professional competences, social attitudes and language skills:

  • they know how to adjust to working conditions in a workplace,
  • they are bale to organize their working time,
  • they are able to adjust to new working environment,
  • they know how to effectively communicate with employers,
  • they now a variety of methods applied in their profession,
  • they are more tolerant towards new cultures, customs and traditions,
  • they respect different from their styles of behavior and work,
  • they become more self-confident and their self-esteem raises,
  • they know professional vocabulary in foreign language and are able to use it in work environment,
  • they develop the sense of European belonging and co-creation of European culture.

 

MOBILITY OF STAFF

Erasmus+ Program enables familiarization with new methods of teaching, development of professional pedagogical and language competences, as well as long-lasting cooperation between the educational and training institutions from various countries.

People occupying educational and training positions are able to:

  • Participate in vocational trainings in foreign enterprises, educational institutions and institutions of professional education;
  • Participate in job shadowing practices or trainings in educational and professional institutions;
  • Lead trainings in foreign partner institutions, including sending institution and consortium-belonging institutions.

Mobilities directed at educational trainings lasting from 2 days till 2 months are designed for people managing education al and professional trainings:

  • Teachers, trainers, internship careers in school enterprises;
  • Professional advisors, people organizing educational trainings;
  • People responsible for vocational trainings in enterprises, public sector institutions and non-governmental institutions.

In the application form a particular institution is required to present its European Development Plan, which defines the spheres requiring improvement, conformity of actions within the project with the needs of institution and long-term benefits resulting from the participation in the project. The aims of the project are defined by the teachers and manager, and are based on school’s needs, its students and staff. Due to such solutions not only are the benefits visible for the participant but also for the entire institution.
