ΠΕΡΙΓΡΑΦΗ ΠΡΟΓΡΑΜΜΑΤΟΣ
Seen the great impact of the methods in the participants daily work and all the unexplored potentialities of many tools,
we decided to go ahead and explore more the mechanisms of communication linked with relationships and behaviours.
In this Austrian edition finally we will go also deeper, focusing more on methods easily applicable in our daily lives to reach
awareness in communication and to make easier the coop eration with others.
This edition aims to improve and refine the communication skills (and their connections with relationships and values)
of Youth workers and organisations providing them competences, tools and methods to address their work to marginalised
youth, especially those at risk of exclusion and with violent and risky behaviours as indirect beneficiaries.
It spreads European values of tolerance, dialogue, respect of human rights firstly among youth workers
as a common reflection, awareness and empowerment of communication tools against violence and then among youth.
Learning Objectives:
- To gain practical skills of communication to be used in working with youth coming from
different backgrounds and with violent (even verbal) attitude;
- To experience the barriers of cooperation and learn from them strategies to cope in a daily life situations;
- To gain skills of using Non Violent Communication methods by M. Rosenberg and adapt it within diverse groups;
- To trigger discussion about Media literacy and how critical thinking and positive communication skills can open
the new generations to share common fundamental values of our society: freedom, tolerance and respect instead of hate and fake news;
