ΠΕΡΙΓΡΑΦΗ ΠΡΟΓΡΑΜΜΑΤΟΣ

Heart tools - are tools of non-formal education methodology, which we want to give to youth activists, to promote and support youth in spreading the promotion of
equality and human rights in the European Union and beyond.


OBJECTIVES of the project "HEARTools – Human Equality And Rights Trainings by using art and media tools" are:
1. Promotion of human rights through art in public space.
2. Increasing the impact of young people on their surroundings and role in local
communities.
3. Strengthening tolerance and respect for human rights in the media.
4. Increasing the competences of youth workers.

HEARTools course combines professional knowledge from 3 fields:
1. Human Rights 2. Street Art 3. Media Communication

Training course will include 7-days non formal human rights education and urban art workshops with specialists in the fields with the general schedule:
DAY 1 INTRODUCING AND ESTABLISHING CONTACT BETWEEN PARTICIPANTS
DAY 2 EXTERNAL COMMUNICATION: TOOLS AND PRACTICE
DAY 3 HUMAN RIGHTS
Human rights and human rights education introduction & examples
DAY 4 STREET ART WORKSHOPS
Examples of visual forms of human rights violations from different countries
Custom forms of street art
Street templates created
Creating unconventional forms of art in public space
Planning artistic activities in the public space
DAY 5 INSPIRATION ACTION
Preparation of artistic activity in public space (learning how to use resources, working in small groups, creative methods of creating, painting, drawing, upcycling).
In the evening Engaged Exhibition — an event promoting the results of the participants of the course with local activists and artists, including young people.
A form that involves an open dialogue: What street art can do for society / for freedom / for others?
DAY 6 VERBAL AND NON-VERBAL COMMUNICATION IN THE MEDIA
Promotion of the event and activities in the media
Conducting a local artistic event with young people for the local community -
disseminating the results on the example of an Engaged Exhibition
Day 7 Final: Implementation Activities Preparation and Course Evaluation

 

Participating countries: Armenia, Poland, Belarus, Bulgaria, Greece, Georgia, Ukraine, Turkey 

Venue: Participants will stay in one of the hostels in a centre of Poznań, Poland. Our main workplace is our new place called Sfera Do-wolności.
