ΠΕΡΙΓΡΑΦΗ ΠΡΟΓΡΑΜΜΑΤΟΣ

The seminar intends to examine the role of the youth organizations related to the field of
youth employability. The participants will have the opportunity to discuss, share their experiences and
good practices about youth empowerment. Moreover, they will analyze the connection between the youth
work and the employability.

PROJECT AIMS:
- Identify the role of the youth organizations to face youth unemployment, examining the strength
and the weakness of their actions;
- Analyze the practices adopted in the youth field which have a direct/indirect impact on the
employability, enhancing the opportunities for youth access into the labor market;
- Understand the opportunities for youth organizations raised by the European programs 2014-2020,
especially regarding the improvement of the key competences for the youth through the nonformal
and informal approach;
- Define the new challenges of the youth workers and the new opportunities of cooperation with
other sectors in order to improve a better impact on youth employability.

RESULTS:

The partners will create an Handbook which will contain the most relevant topics, reflections and
practices arisen during the seminar. The participants will be encouraged to share their best practices and
experiences, in order to improve the quality of their daily activities addressed to the youth, especially to
those with fewer opportunities. Moreover, the organizations will have a chance to develop new ideas for
future initiatives to set up at local, national and European level.
