ΠΕΡΙΓΡΑΦΗ ΠΡΟΓΡΑΜΜΑΤΟΣ
Why this youth exchange : the partners convinced that the bias and incorrect information, their young people still have sterotype about other nations and countries,
affect the integration of several groups and the cooperation and solidarity to local affairs. Although many parties on both sides of the Mediterranean try to reinforce their effort in
terms of cooperation, these efforts are not really effective due to the fact that the society has prejudice and preconceptions.
The main object gain an understanding of a local, national, and international realities beside that provide educational support and time for the participants to share their own
experiences and knowledge.
Aims and Specific objectives:
1. Engage in cooperative interaction and experience cultural enrichment based on the acceptance of the differences between people.
2. Have open discussions between participants from different nations concerning racism and xenophobia in national as faced in their own countries.
3. Investigate ways in which intercultural dialogue and education can be a mean to prevent and overcome hostilities between people.
4. Give young participants the opportunity to express their opinion and feelings through activities that facilitate the way in which they learn to live together, participate and feel
inclusive and united in diversity.
5. increase the knowledge about different aspects of the conflict and the nature of causes and consequences.
Participating countries: Jordan , Cyprus , Palestine , Greece and Austria
Venue: The training course will take place at guest house /Schneller school Amman , where participants will be accommodated and stay during the training course , all meals will be provided.
