ΠΕΡΙΓΡΑΦΗ ΠΡΟΓΡΑΜΜΑΤΟΣ

Creating a dialogue between religions is very important topic, it has an effect on a lot of people, and recently there is a special focus on it in Europe, because of the refugees coming here. The European Union's outstanding politicians, renowned church leaders, even the Pope himself also spoke recently on the subject: he thinks that „interreligious dialogue is not something extra or optional but essential”. We would like to achieve our youth exchange in this spirit.
Our project’s aim is to help young people get to know other religions and acquire skills such as acceptance of acceptance of other cultures, respect for human rights and religious freedom. During the exchange based on the participating countries, young people will get to know four major religions, Catholic, Protestant, Orthodox and Muslim religions.
Making photos, montages and videos are all creative and interactive activities that help young people learn those competencies while they are playing and creating. This is a very important topic so we think young people also should have the opportunity to affect other people, so they organize a photo gallery in the local school.
The exchange program is primarily intended for young people who are basically interested in the subject; practice their religion regularly, so that they can deliver a complete picture of it to other participants.
Youth Exchange activities will use non formal education methodologies and will be centered on participants’ input and experience as the main source of mutual learning.

Participating countries: Turkey, Greece, Bosnia, Italy, Serbia, Hungary

Venue: Sport Hostel Sportada
