ΠΕΡΙΓΡΑΦΗ ΠΡΟΓΡΑΜΜΑΤΟΣ

“Extreme Realities” Project to be held during from 10th to 17th October 2016. in the project will be involved a total of 42 people from 6 different countries. We will have the participation of professionals who bring their vision of the organization and management of entities nonprofit, visits to related sites, games and group dynamics. Moreover, the project is conducted with the benefit of Erasmus + program.
This exchange will give participants a deeper understanding of violent extremism and concrete methods for working with youth in danger of being influenced by violent extremism.
This thematic of the exchange, will be investigate and compare different political, ethnic and religious forms of violent extremism which in recent years have appealed to young persons in Europe and its neighbouring countries.
The exchange programme will contain input from academics researching youth and violent extremism, young persons with a past impacted by violent extremism and youth workers with experience working with prevention for, and rehabilitation of, such youth.
Along with presentations of best practice examples from participants, the seminar will consist of lectures, discussions, group work and the sharing of experiences and challenges.
The language of the project will be English.

WORKING METHODS
Our Youth Exchange will be non-formal learning. It means that learning is based on your experience, your motivation and your needs. During the exchange, non-formal education methods and methods that assure balance between theory and practice will be used such as presentations, group works, workshops, games, role plays, exercises, etc.
