ΠΕΡΙΓΡΑΦΗ ΠΡΟΓΡΑΜΜΑΤΟΣ

Youth Aware is a Youth Exchange which will take place between 5th and 13th December in
Romania, in Craiova. The project themes are:
-Development of empathy skills for better communication and group work
-Raising of awareness on cultural differences and how to deal with them
-Better perception of social issues at an European level
-Raise of awareness about disadvantaged groups and their struggles
-Acquiring tools to address and fight social issues like discrimination
-Development of skills for communication, group work, creativity
-Discovering the possibilities of the Erasmus + platform
-Raising communication capabilities in an international context
-Awareness of social and segregation issues that affect youth
-Developed team building and personal organization skills

The Youth Exchange is prepared and will be run on the basis of a methodology that emphasizes
active participation and commitment of all who’s involved. Therefore, the program is
subject to regular changes and adaptations before and during the course. The activities
foreseen are ice-breakers, role-plays, team-building and outdoor activities, debates, open
space and several workshops to develop life skills and useful competences. The working
methods are the: “Experiential learning”, “Educator to Peer” and "Peer to Peer".
The participants will also organize some local events for the local youth.
