ΠΕΡΙΓΡΑΦΗ ΠΡΟΓΡΑΜΜΑΤΟΣ

The youth exchange “No Barriers, No Borders” will take place in Sivas, Turkey, and it will involve Youths from 7 different countries
(Bulgaria, Greece, Hungary, Italy, Romania, FYROM  and Turkey).
The participants will explore and analyse how they can enhance participation of people with different abilities (disability) in
non-­‐formal activities. During the Youth Exchange the participants will have the chance to analyse and discuss topics and issues
such as stereotypes, challenges, social inclusion, active participation and citizenship prejudices and many more.
Participants will enhance their skills and tools to support their own target groups, especially young people with fewer opportunities
for integration.

The project will use new activities and technologies applied to people with difficult access and participation, to show new ways of
how to encourage the participation of each and every one of us.

The project will also highlight the importance of involving more and more volunteers in organizations for purposes of social inclusion.
The one of project aim to create map which is show information on the accessibility of public places with online map, to increase social
interaction and mobility of disadvantageous youngsters and to contribute integration of disabled people to social life.

Barriers in public environments constantly prevent mobility-­‐impaired people from free movement and participation. The aim of project
to create map which is show information on the accessibility of public places (Public transport, Hospital, Sport Centre, Cafe, Restaurant,
Shopping Centre) with OpenStreetMap, to increase social interaction and mobility of disadvantageous youngsters and to contribute
integration of disabled people to social life.
During project, participants will have workshop with non-­‐formal education methods about accessibility of people who have disability.
The main activities are creating accessible map, feel empathy with disabled people: All of us are Disabled, Visiting Rehabilitation Centre
for Person with Disabilities, Coffee Talks “disabled role model and making ramps workshop.
Created accessible map will be published on internet with user also prepared report will be sent to related are of government and
municipality.

The program activities will be based on non-­‐formal learning, learning­‐ by-­‐doing method and intercultural dialogue. The Youth Exchange
will give a chance to young people to assess and develop their creativity, active participation, sense of initiative and involvement in society.
In order to achieve the learning objectives, a variety of interactive working methods such as workshops, role-­‐plays, outdoor activities
and plenary discussions will be used, according to the specific learning needs of the participants and their organizations, in order to
cover all aspects of the project themes.
