ΠΕΡΙΓΡΑΦΗ ΠΡΟΓΡΑΜΜΑΤΟΣ
The main objective of the youth exchange "Disconnect to Re-Connect" is to open a critical debate on the impact of social media and raise awareness among young people about the safe and positive use of social media, such as: looking for work, participating in decision-making or dealing with community affairs.
Objectives
- sensitizing participants to the influence of social media on behavior, with particular attention to self-esteem and self-confidence;
- to strengthen the competences of the participants, to protect themselves in social media and to use social media positively
for their own benefit;
- to familiarize participants with different approaches to social media and to support their critical view of social media;
- to develop the competences of the participants, such as Communication in English, teamwork in an intercultural team, problem
solving, conflict management;
- improve participants' knowledge of the Erasmus + program and support the creation of new project ideas that meet the needs of
the participants;
- Share the insights gained during the youth exchange on online media and personal activities in the communities involved in
order to open a critical debate on social media in the communities of the participants.
All of the above will be reached through means of non-formal education. We will not be giving lectures, we will guide
and motivate participants to work in groups, find their own conclusions and develop communication and group working
skills.
