ΠΕΡΙΓΡΑΦΗ ΠΡΟΓΡΑΜΜΑΤΟΣ
In this rapidly changing world, one must adapt itself to constantly changing conditions.
Waste management is a global problem. Currently, the trajectory for global waste generation shows that it will grow from 2.24 billion tonnes in 2023 to nearly 3.88 billion tonnes by 2050 with more than 90 percent of trash in low-income countries being dumped either in the open or burned, posing a threat to the environment, exacerbating climate worries and making it imperative for countries to tackle the issue immediately.
Designed by Dear Future Self Association and 5 partner Youth NGOs, this youth exchange will bring together 36 young people will take part in 9 full days of activities during the youth mobility, and they will organize local learning workshops in order to share their findings, experiences, and opportunities with 180 young people by arranging 6 local workshops by December 2023. They will also design The 30 Days Challenge To-Boost-Your-Environmental-Friendliness and launch one online community to promote the “green” action cards among other 300 European young people to become more interested in adopting green practices in their routines.

Aim & Objectives
The project's aim is to design one multicultural learning experience for 36 youngsters and 6 young leaders, during which:
- participants can explore and become familiar with waste management and how they can combine entrepreneurship, waste management and creativity
- create ways to implement green practices in their communities by sketching a collection of 6 green business ideas of processing waste into a useful product
- design The 30 days To-Boost-Your-Environmental-Friendliness Challenge (containing daily green practices to grow a more conscious behavior)
