ΠΕΡΙΓΡΑΦΗ ΠΡΟΓΡΑΜΜΑΤΟΣ

EUFORIA (EUrope FOlk Reunion In Action) was designed to join the cultures through their most authentic expression: the folklore. Some European regions are rich of traditions that, in the global era and with migratory phenomenon, risk to be forgotten. The knowledge and the esteem of own culture allow, on one side, to alleviate the feelling of loss that often young people may have facing multicultural contexts, on the other side can make the comparison and the knowledge easier from who, like us, is part of Euopean context. The traditions show without filters the soul of populations.

The project will be run in a south rural area of Italy (Bojano), this place is rich of folkloristic traditions that deserves to be ricovered and kept.

Twenty-five young people from Italy, Bulgaria, Poland, Greece and Turkey will be involved. The participants will use several kind of folklore to know each other, to compare, to face European topics, to improve languages and artistic (sing, dance, play, etc…) skills. Many of these participants come from off centre areas.
