ΠΕΡΙΓΡΑΦΗ ΠΡΟΓΡΑΜΜΑΤΟΣ
«Youth on the green trail – Ecology as a chance for and better future no.3», will take place in
Zakopane in Poland. It associates a group of 8 people (7 people + leader) from Poland,
Romania, Croatia and Greece.
During the exchange participants will have the opportunity to connect with nature – also
with the one least affected by human activity (Tatra mountains). Such image will be
compared with the city, as the center, in which we will try to look for the examples of
sustainable development. We will discuss the crucial and widely debated matter of the
ecology and sustainable development, which consists of finding the balance between
the economic development and the protection of the natural environmental human
health.
During the exchange we will take up the topics connected with ecology around us. For
example healthy food, recycling, consumer consciousness, ecological energy sources,
sustainable management of public space in modern cities, like public transport, modern
building industry, social responsibility of business are among the topics of particular
modules. Our ambition is to raise the ecological awareness of the youth participating in
the project and the long-term aim of the project is to encourage our partner
organizations to consider active participation in the promotion of sustainable
development and environmental protection on the area in which they operate. Together
we will prepare a plan of such actions. Our exchange shall be a very practical form of
informal environmental education and we hope that everybody will gain useful
knowledge that will be helpful in the future!
Activities will include:
– workshops and discussions,
– presentations,
– integrative classes and language animations,
– activities, which help to support intercultural education of the participants:
national evenings and group presentations
